SigEp Mashups?

Has anyone made or seen any good SigEp centric mashups?
I am thinking something like using Google maps to locate all the chapter houses, or a combination of pictures on different sharing sites, or something totally off-the-wall that I haven’t thought of yet.
Curious.

Do Not Adjust Your Set

Update:The HQ site is back up and available.
Sean Leahey informed us this morning that the HQ site is “down.” A line was severed yesterday afternoon near the datacenter where the site is hosted.
He says that the provider expects everything to be back available by this afternoon.
(Considering the “Murphy’s Law” factor… look [...]

Making good by being bad - JuicyCampus.com

Web entrepreneur, Duke graduate, and SigEp Matt Ivester is making waves with his “JuicyCampus.com” gossip site. The site has recently been in the news and on TV with the usual pundits decrying yet another sign of the impending collapse of Western civilization.

Matt Ivester, the site’s founder, recently declared on his site’s official blog that [...]

How do people find S&P?

Good question. We have actively talked up the blog at any Sig Ep opportunity “where 2 or 3 are gathered together” over the last 3 years, and we have garnered a nice steady readership. We are considering how best to make sure that any SigEp who is interested can find us and so we did [...]

Holidays are over

Just checked the stats. Looks like people are coming back from break and checking up on what they missed.
Welcome back.

Start the new year right - Whiskipedia

Whiskipedia claims to be a wiki for “all things whisk(e)y.”
…And when they say “Whiskey” that is precisely what they mean. There is no entry for “Gin,” but look for Tennessee Whisky and you will find out how it is different from bourbon.
Of course, we at S&P know that there is no underage drinking [...]

New Website - TN ZETA, Lambuth

We seem to have started a small cascade of new sites. The latest one is from TN Zeta - Lambuth College.
Thanks to Kris Stewart, VP Membership Development for the info and the link.
These new sites all look great! Keep ‘em coming.

New Website - NY Gamma, NYU

Mark Lee wrote to let us know about the new site for NY Gamma - NYU. We have added it to our list of chapter sites (in the sidebar).
Keep the updates coming. We’ll get them on the roll. Oh, by the way…(shameless self-promotion alert!) it is considered good “netiquette” to link back to someone you [...]

New Chapter Website - KS Delta, Washburn U.

Thanks to Marshall Mcginnis for letting us know about the update to the KS Delta chapter website - Washburn Unversity. We have added it to our list of chapter sites (in the sidebar).
If there are other new or updated chapter sites, or if we don’t have your chapter site listed correctly, please let us know [...]

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain…

A quick peek “behind the kimono”…
You may have noticed that some of the posts looked a bit odd lately. The sweet “Peekaboo” feature has gone fubar. You will note that ALL of the posts have the “Read more…” tags. Further, they don’t work even where they are supposed to.
The short story is the guy [...]
